November 20: AISJ annual Gala Dinner. You will receive more details about this event through our PTSA.
November 11-12: Parent Teacher Conferences. It will be a great opportunity to meet and talk about all the great things our students are doing in class. Both days are going to be short and our students will be dismissed at 11:00 am. You are kindly requested to plan for transportation accordingly.
November 5: Term Break. Due to extended Hajj Vacation, November 5th will be a virtual day. We will post 2 assignments for our students on our classroom website before 9:00 am that day. Please, check here on that day and help you children complete their assignments.
October 29: Character Day: All students are invited to dress in the spirit of the day by putting on their costumes (ready-made or designed from you or your child out of household items). Try to keep it simple and fun. We all know how excited the children become at such events. Their safety is always our main concern. Therefore, you are kindly requested to adhere to the following guidelines:
1. Students will not wear any items which may be construed as a safety hazard
2. Weapons of any kind and scary masks may not be part of a costume either worn or brought to school.

- October 18-19: Professional Development Days for all the AISJ teachers. There won't be school for students.
- October 15: The Young Women's Organization is sponsoring a casual day tp help support Breast Cancer Awareness. Our students may come to school wearing a pink T-hirt and jeans, and they may donate 20 SAR.
- Starting on Sunday, October 4, we are going to go to an 8 day rotation schedule.
- Beginning on Sunday, August 30, we ask that you drop your child on the EC playground between 7:45 am and 8:00 am. Homeroom teachers and/or assistants will be waiting for your child on the playground. Please note that the playground gate will be opened at 7:45 am, no assistance is provided before 7:45 am and no students should be in the building earlier than 8:00 am. In order to build independence and confidence, we will be asking parents to leave their children with the AISJ staff at 7:45.
- Please, help us encourage healthy eating by making sure that in your child’s lunchbox there is a variety of healthy food (plain milk, juice, plain yogurt, yogurt milk, fruits, vegetables, healthy sandwiches, homemade food, etc.), enough to cover the needs of our daily schedule.
- School Uniform-It's mandatory for all students to follow the AISJ school uniform policy (AISJ Polo shirts, black, khaki or navy blue pants, AISJ sweaters, and No Jeans). If your child is cold, please have them put on a school hoodie or zip front cardigan. Please see here the AISJ uniform policy.
